Animal Attendant – Grade Four (4)(Department of Zoology)

• Providing daily care for laboratory animals (mice, rats, rabbits, etc.);
• Observation of animals for signs of illness and maintaining general hygiene in the
facility;
• Assisting learner and researchers with animal restraint, vaccination, dissections, sample
collection and administration of treatment; and
• Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
