Identify Africa (Identix Solutions Limited) is a Nairobi-based identity verification company helping organizations across Africa know exactly who they are dealing with, whether that's a customer, business or a new hire.

About the Role

We are seeking a high-performing, results-driven Sales Executive to accelerate our sales pipeline and expand our market presence. In this role, you will be responsible for driving B2B revenue growth by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in B2B sales cycles and a proven track record of selling Background Search (Know Your Employee) products or services.

Responsibilities

  • Pipeline Generation: Proactively source, qualify, and build a robust pipeline of B2B opportunities through targeted outbound prospecting, networking, and lead generation.

  • Sales Execution: Manage the complete sales cycle from initial contact and product demonstrations to contract negotiation and closing.

  • Solution Selling: Effectively articulate the value proposition of our Background search products/services to HR leaders, compliance officers, risk managers, and C-suite executives.

  • Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.

  • Performance Tracking: Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and pre-set KPIs.

  • Market Insights: Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory updates related to background search and employee compliance.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated success in a B2B sales role.

  • Domain Expertise: A proven, verifiable track record of Background search products, background screening services, compliance solutions, or related HR/risk software.

  • Sales Skills: Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to navigate complex organizational structures and long sales cycles.

  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with confidence delivering high-impact presentations to executive-level buyers.

  • Mindset: Self-motivated, target-driven, and highly organized with a disciplined approach to pipeline management (CRM usage).
