The Role

Business Development & Portfolio Growth

• Drive acquisition, growth, and retention of SME and Business Banking customers.
  
• Identify new business opportunities and expand market share within assigned segments.
  
• Deepen existing customer relationships through cross-selling of the Bank’s products and services.
  

Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.
  
• Provide tailored financial solutions that meet customer needs and support business growth.
  
• Deliver exceptional customer experience and resolve customer concerns promptly.
  

Credit Assessment & Portfolio Management

• Structure, analyze, and prepare quality credit proposals.
  
• Conduct financial statement analysis and recommend appropriate lending solutions.
  
• Monitor portfolio performance to ensure portfolio quality and profitability.
  

Risk & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to the Bank’s credit policies, regulatory requirements, and operational procedures.
  
• Actively manage portfolio risk, including PAR and NPL accounts, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  
• Maintain high standards of governance, compliance, and operational excellence.
  

Skills, Competencies and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Banking, or a related field.
  
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in SME, Business Banking, Corporate Banking, or Relationship Management within a financial institution.
  
• Proven track record in business acquisition, portfolio growth, and revenue generation.
  
• Strong credit appraisal and financial analysis skills.
  
• Excellent negotiation, networking, sales, and relationship management capabilities.
  
• Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills with the ability to meet challenging targets.
  
• Demonstrated understanding of banking regulations, risk management, and credit policies.
