About Enviu

Enviu is an agri-food organisation that is building impactful agriculture companies in Kenya. We are looking to partner with an experienced founder to co-build and scale one of our early-stage companies. This company promotes sustainable agriculture and has already established strong revenues, a great team, and runway for the next 6 months.

The ideal candidate is an experienced entrepreneur, passionate about sustainable production, and with the drive to scale company across the region

Key responsibilities

• Lead company-wide strategy development and implementation

• Lead and build critical partnerships with financiers, buyers and the public sector

• Represent the company externally to attract visibility and support

• Drive the company toward commercial sustainability and reduced grant dependency over time

• Build & recruit a strong leadership team to support your ambitions

Must have qualifications

• Previously founder/ C-suite roles: You have previously founded or lead a company or
  startup in a C-suite role

• Passionate about improving livelihoods of farmers and sustainable food production: You
  have demonstrated this in your career or in your personal life choices

• High drive towards results: You have delivered strong operational and commercial outputs
  in your previous roles

• Long term commitment: You are ready & able to commit for the long haul with a vision
  for growth and exit

• Built and led a team of 10+ people, including hiring your own senior people

• Values-driven decision making: Honesty & integrity are important especially when the
  going gets tough

• Thrives in uncertainty, learns fast, and stays hands-on.
