MGallery Nairobi Gigiri will feature 105 rooms and suites; four restaurants, including an all-day dining venue, a signature dining experience, a pool bar, and a rooftop restaurant and bar; meeting rooms and a business centre; and wellness facilities spanning a gym, pool and spa.

With a prime location on Gigiri’s Limuru Road, fairly close to Nairobi’s city centre and Village Market, it will attract UN and NGO delegates, consultants and contractors, as well as diplomats, leisure visitors and the local community.

Key responsibilities:

• Assisting with food preparation for our restaurants, functions and hotel operations
• Preparing ingredients and basic dishes to the required standard
• Supporting the Chef team during busy service periods
• Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen
• Following food safety and hygiene procedures
• Assisting with stock preparation and kitchen organisation
• Working as part of a team to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations

Requirements:

• Culinary qualification or training preferred
• 1–2 years’ experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a 4- or 5-star hotel
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations
• Good teamwork, willingness to learn, and ability to work under pressure
