Desktop, Network, and CCTV Technician

A Desktop, Network, and CCTV Technician installs,
maintains, and repairs office computers, local area networks, and video
surveillance systems

Key Responsibilities

• Desktop
  & End-User Support:
  
• Set
  up, configure, and repair desktop computers, laptops, printers, and
  office software.
  
• Resolve
  hardware and network connectivity issues for employees.
  
• Manage
  user accounts, password resets, and access permissions
  
• Network
  Administration & Cabling:
  
• Install,
  configure, and maintain local networks (LAN/WAN), switches, routers, and
  patch panels.
  
• Run
  and terminate structured cabling (Cat5e/Cat6) and configure IP addressing, subnets, DHCP, DNS, and
  remote access/port
  

CCTV & Security Systems:

• Install
  and position analog and IP security cameras
  
• Set up
  and program Network Video Recorders (NVRs) and Digital Video Recorders
  (DVRs).
  
• Monitor
  storage capacity, hard drive health, and video retention schedules.
  

 Maintenance
& Inventory:

• Perform
  routine preventive maintenance on network racks, UPS power backups, and
  camera lenses.
  
• Required
  Qualifications & Skills
  

• Education:
  Diploma or Certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science,
  Electrical/Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field
  
• Experience:
  hands-on experience in IT support, structured cabling, and surveillance
  deployment
