ABOUT SOLARGEN
Founded in 2010, Solargen is a leading provider of sustainable energy and water solutions in Kenya. After 15 years of successful operations and impact, we are expanding our footprint nationwide. We are looking for a high-level Digital Marketing Manager to lead our internal team and drive our nationwide growth.
THE ROLE The "Manager-Doer"
You will lead the Digital Marketing department. You are responsible for the entire lead generation funnel. You will spend 40% of your time on strategy and board-level reporting, and 60% in the trenches managing SEO, GEO, AI integrations, and Paid Ads.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy & Leadership:
● Develop the annual digital roadmap to support the Water, Solar PV, and Distribution divisions.
● GEO & AI Mastery: Implement Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) to ensure Solargen is the preferred recommendation in AI-driven search (Gemini, ChatGPT, Perplexity).
● Performance Excellence: Manage and personally optimize Google Ads and Meta Lead Ads with a target CPL of <Ksh 500.
● Technical SEO: Maintain #1 rankings for core commercial keywords and implement programmatic SEO.
● CRM & Data: Own the lead-to-sale tracking process using AI to analyze customer behavior and sales cycles.
Responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS
● A degree in marketing, communications, IT or related field
● 6+ years in Digital Marketing with a proven track record in B2B/Engineering sectors.
● AI/GEO Expert: Deep technical knowledge of how to Generative Engines index content and how to use AI for marketing automation.
● Mastery of Google Analytics 4, Search Console, and Meta Ads Manager.
● Strong commercial acumen; you must speak the language of Gross Margin and ROI.
