Driver - Migori County

Vacancy Requirements:

• KCSE School Certificate or equivalent
  
• Valid Driving License class BCE
  
• Certificate of Defensive Driving Course will be added advantage.
  
• Current Certificate of Good Conduct Required.
  
• At least five years proven experience as a safe driver on highways.
  
• Basic Automotive Mechanical skills and sound knowledge about vehicles.
  

• Safely drive project vehicles as assigned for study activities by the study leadership
  
• Carry out daily routine checks on the vehicle before driving ensuring good condition of all parts and valid maintenance and service status.
  
• Ensure maximum security of vehicle and all their accessories.
  
• Ensure safety of passengers and cargo in the vehicle during transportation
  
• Monitor condition and performance of vehicle and promptly and timely report requirements to study administrator.
  
• Carry out minor repairs and adjustments on the vehicle, and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
  
• Maintain record of movements and status of vehicles assigned to them
  
• Submit reports on vehicles as required by the study administrator
  
• Report any accidents and incidents experienced to the administrator in a timely way.
  
• Transport staff members to various participants for study activities.
  
• Assist in purchase, delivery and distribution of study supplies as needed
  
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the study leadership.
