Person Specifications
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
- Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Electronics, Telecommunication, Computer Engineering or equivalent qualifications from a recognized Institution; and
- Certificate in computer application skills.
Method of Application

- Undertaking electrical works;
- Offering technical support for studio-based training;
- Maintain lighting, sound and projectors in theatres and studios;
- Ensuring the observance of electrical precautions to minimize accidents at the workplace;
- Testing the functionality of equipment before commissioning;
- Monitor the Institute's broadcasting facilities to ensure they are functioning as required; (vii) Determine equipment specifications for television and radio studios, animation and computer labs to facilitate procurement of appropriate equipment for use;
- Preparing work schedules for installation and maintenance of equipment; and
- Drafting maintenance reports.
