Finance - Senior Accountant

What We Are Looking For

• ACCA or CPA(K) qualified - fully certified
  
• 5 to 8+ years accounting experience, ideally within FMCG or manufacturing
  
• Strong understanding of stock, cost of production and margin analysis
  
• Experience managing high transaction volumes
  
• Excellent reconciliation and control mindset
  
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, growth environment
  
• Strong Google Sheet / excel skills
  
• Extremely comfortable with technology, software, ERP and platforms like 'sage pastel'
  
• High integrity and strong attention to detail
  

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations across multiple business units
  
• Manage monthly closing process and ensure timely, accurate reporting
  
• Lead reconciliations - bank, debtors, creditors, inventory and inter-company
  
• Strengthen working capital control - debtors, creditors and stock
  
• Oversee statutory compliance - VAT, PAYE, corporate tax coordination
  
• Support audit processes - internal and external
  
• Maintain strong cost accounting discipline within manufacturing
  
• Improve finance processes, controls and documentation
  
• Partner with operations, supply chain and sales to ensure financial accuracy
  
• Assist in automation initiatives and system improvements
  
• Support the Commercial and Sales teams on margins, pricing, trade spend and joint business planning
  
• Partner with Sales on credit control discipline, customer limits and collection performance
  
• Improve finance processes, controls and documentation
