The Hospital Housekeeper/Laundry Worker is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe healthcare environment for patients, staff, and visitors. The role supports infection prevention and control through effective cleaning, disinfection, and safe handling of hospital linen and waste in line with healthcare hygiene standards.
Qualifications & Requirements:
KCSE certificate or equivalent (secondary education preferred)
Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services, preferably in a healthcare setting
Basic understanding of infection control and hygiene practices (advantage)
Ability to follow instructions and work under minimal supervision
Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks
Basic communication skills in English and/or Kiswahili
Minimum of one (1) year in the same capacity
