ICT Officer( Full Stack) Grade 8

For appointment to this grade, one MUST have:

1. A Bachelor’s degree or higher diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunication engineering, or a related field from an accredited and recognized University.
   
2. Experience developing web and mobile applications
   
3. Familiarity with common stacks
   
4. Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
   
5. Knowledge of multiple back-end languages Java, Python and JavaScript frameworks Angular, React, Node.js
   
6. Familiarity with databases MySQL, MongoDB, web servers, Apache and UI/UX design
   
7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
   
8. Great attention to detail
   
9. Organizational skills
   

1. Develop both front-end and back-end components of web applications, ensuring seamless integration between the client and server sides.
   
2. Design and implement robust application architectures and frameworks.
   
3. Create dynamic and responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks.
   
4. Build and maintain server-side applications using languages and frameworks such as Node.js, Python, or Java.
   
5. Design, create, and maintain databases, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
   
6. Develop and maintain RESTful services and APIs to support front-end functionality and data exchange.
   
7. Write and perform unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, as well as debug issues across the stack.
   
8. Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and delivery processes.
   
9. Implement security measures to protect applications from vulnerabilities and ensure data privacy.
   
10. Work closely with designers, developers, and project managers to define requirements and timelines.
    
11. Conduct code reviews and create documentation for code, APIs, and application processes.
