Information Communication Technology Assistant

Duties and responsibilities at this level will involve analysing, designing, and testing ICT applications; providing user support; preparing training materials on how to operate ICT systems and infrastructure; repairing and maintaining ICT systems and infrastructure; monitoring the performance of ICT equipment; and reporting any faults for further action.

For appointment to this level, a candidate must have: -

• Diploma in any of the following fields: Computer Science, ICT, IT, ICT Systems Support, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering & Maintenance, Computer Networking, Software Development, Business Information Technology, Telecommunications Engineering, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
