Labeller Machine Operator

We are looking to hire a qualified Labeller Machine Operator to join our team and support operations on the Krones PET Bottling Line.

This role is crucial in ensuring seamless packaging processes, minimal downtime, and consistently high-quality output in a fast-paced beverage production environment.

Key Requirements:

1. Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

2. Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in operating automatic labelling and shrink wrapping machines, preferably Krones.

3. Technical skills in:

• Label roll changeovers and sensor calibration.
  
• Shrink tunnel handling and packaging line operations.
  
• First-line mechanical troubleshooting.
  

4. Knowledge of GMP, quality standards, and packaging integrity checks.

5. Ability to work effectively in rotating shifts.

6. Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and teamwork orientation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operate and monitor automatic labelling and shrink wrapping machines (Krones or
similar).

2. Carry out label roll changes, ensure accurate label alignment, and calibrate sensors for smooth label application.

3. Manage shrink tunnel operations, including film handling, pack formation, and sealing integrity.

4. Perform routine checks and adjustments to maintain machine performance and reduce downtime.

5. Identify and address basic mechanical faults or escalate as needed.

6. Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and adherence to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) at all times.

7. Conduct quality control checks on packaging to ensure compliance with product standards.

8. Complete shift reports and logbooks accurately and in a timely manner.

9. Collaborate with the maintenance and production teams to meet daily targets.

10. Comply with health and safety protocols, and proactively identify and report hazards.
