Logistics Coordinator

Qualifications

• At least 3–5 years’ relevant experience in logistics coordination.
  
• Holder of a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management or related field from a reputable institution.
  
• Background experience in Logistics and Supply Chain Management in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan and co-ordinate logistics operations liaising with customers, internal stakeholders, sales, suppliers, logistics providers and transportation companies.
  
• Record accurate and consistent delivery records on the computer system. Create and maintain transportation paperwork, such as driver vehicle inspection reporting, trip reports, driver logs, and invoices.
  
• Produce logistics schedules and reports and communicate updates and any concerns to the Logistics Manager.
  
• Maintain and respond to feedback or complaints from the sales staff, clients, and drivers, directing them to suitable parties if necessary.
  
• Report and maintain key performance indicators regarding mileages, fuel efficiency reporting, delivery details, on-time delivery, and rejections/goods returned.
  
• Responsible for checking fuel balances from the portal and adjusting fuel limits on daily basis.
  
• Maintaining performance metrics and reports to provide meaningful logistics information and as a means of measuring and evaluating performance.
  
• Responsible for sending out email for vehicle allocation and schedules on weekly basis.
  
• Tracking all company vehicles to ensure proper utility with the aim of keeping proper records by use of GPS.
  
• Booking inspection, exemption permit, renewal of tracking device, insurance, speed governor, parking fee for the motorcycle, doing advance tax for the trucks & following up reflective number plates with NTSA.
  
• Reporting, coordinating, and following up with the insurance in case any vehicle accidents by filing the relevant documents and ensuring timely compensation.
