Requirements
- Significant experience (5+ years) focused on media or data analysis, with a track record of leading quantitative or mixed-methods analyses from design through delivery.
- Demonstrated knowledge of quantitative analysis methods, or advanced knowledge of media monitoring and analysis tools such as Event Registry/NewsAPI, Brandwatch, TVEyes, Muck Rack, etc. such as experience analysing large volumes of media data or working with APIs.
- Strong writing and editorial skills, with the ability to help others produce clear, compelling written reports, slide decks, dashboards, and other analysis products in English.
- Fluency in written and spoken English, our working language; additional languages are an asset.

- Experience managing or coordinating groups, ideally in a distributed or cross-regional context, with sensitivity to cultural differences and time zone realities.
- Strong people and communication skills, including experience working closely with internal stakeholders or clients to scope work and manage expectations.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate the MMA analysts currently distributed across Asia and Europe who compile coverage reports, analyse trends and prepare insight products for communications leads working in more than 40 countries globally.
- Triage, prioritise, and allocate incoming analysis and reporting requests, balancing competing priorities, deadlines, and time zone demands.
- Provide editorial review and quality control on analysis products to ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency and usefulness for different audiences.
- Pitch in directly with analysis and writing as needed, particularly during peak periods or for complex or high-profile requests.
- Interface with local or thematic leads making analysis requests to clarify scope and expectations, manage delivery issues, and collect feedback on outputs.
- Manage workload and workflow, ensuring skills, capacity, and wellbeing are balanced and used effectively across the portfolio.
- Lead weekly calls, including work planning, prioritisation, delivery check-ins and reflective discussions.
- Conduct periodic retrospectives to assess ways of working and implement improvements to workflows, tools, and collaboration practices.
- Ensure the regular updating of case studies and examples to support organisational reporting, learning, and funder communications.
- Identify new tools, analysis types and product offerings that can be provided based on user feedback.
- Manage access to subscriptions and paid tools, including liaising with vendors on contracts, assigning accounts to users, and supporting management of the budget.
- Plan and oversee training and skills development, with a focus on analytical quality, writing, and confidence working with stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with the MEL technical roles to improve existing software tools and contribute to the development of new analysis products and systems.
