Medical Officer- Athi River

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor of Medicine or Bachelor of Surgery from a recognized university
  

  (MBChB or MBBS)
  

• Registered and with a valid license from the Kenya Medical Practitioners and
  

  Dentists Council.
  

• At least one (1) year internship experience in either a public or private
  

  hospital.
  

• Certificate in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  

  (ACLS)
  

• Knowledge of healthcare policies, documentation, and reporting
  

  procedures.
  

• Proficiency in computer skills (especially Health Management Information
  

  Systems).
  

• Desirable competencies.
  
• Strong clinical decision-making and patient management skills.
  

• Knowledge of the laws of Kenya, regulations, guidelines, and health
  

  schemes.
  

• Good report writing skills.
  

• Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with staff,
  

  patients, and other stakeholders.
