Nursing Tutor

Qualifications and Experience:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BScN) or a Diploma in Nursing with a Teaching Certificate. A Master's Degree in Nursing or a related field is an added advantage.
  
• Current licensure with the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK).
  
• At least 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
  
• Prior experience in teaching or training in a healthcare or academic setting is highly desirable.
  
• Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and ethics.
  
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills.
  
• Proficiency in using technology for teaching and administrative tasks.
  

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in accordance with the nursing curriculum.
  
• Use innovative teaching methods, including simulations, demonstrations, and case studies, to enhance learning.
  
• Oversee students during clinical placements, ensuring they gain hands-on experience in line with course objectives.
  
• Provide guidance and feedback to students during practical sessions.
  
• Mentor and advise students on academic, personal, and professional development matters.
  
• Identify and address students' learning needs to ensure their success.
  
• Prepare and administer tests, assignments, and exams to evaluate students' progress.
  
• Stay updated on advancements in nursing and education through continuous professional development.
