Description
Requirements:
- Served in the grade of Officer II- ICT for a minimum of three (3) years;
- Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and result; OR
- Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science / Information Communication Technology / Software Engineering / Informatics and Computer Science / Computer Networks and Cyber Security / Business Information Technology / Information Security and Forensic or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
- Preparing technical specifications on ICT equipment’s and systems;
- Developing and integrating software components;
- Configuring, verifying and deploying ICT infrastructure and systems;
- Collecting and collating user feedback for new/enhanced systems and equipment’s;
- Preparing systems administrator documentation;
- Installing ICT equipment;
- Installing and upgrading software;
- Providing end user support;
- Performing regular system backup;
- Implementing measures for data integrity;
- Monitoring capacity management for ICT equipment’s;
- Planning, controlling and developing computer system analysis.
