Principal Analyst, Cyber Security Infrastructure

Strategic Responsibilities

1. Contribute as appropriate to the performance of the function and the overall achievement of the Bank’s strategic objectives.
   

Technical and Operational Responsibilities

1. Implement cybersecurity policies, baselines, standards, and processes to improve cybersecurity posture and mitigate cyber risks.
   

2. Maintain Cyber Security tools and services and ensure 99.999% uptime.
   

3. Coordinate activities geared towards troubleshooting and remediating Level two/ Level three issues impacting Cyber Security operations.
   

4. Perform cyber security administration tasks such as deployments/upgrades, maintenance, incidents management, and support.
   

5. Perform change management, continuous improvement, and documentation of cybersecurity processes and guidelines.
   

6. Support audit activities towards the remediation of audit findings.
   

7. Ensure patching and vulnerability management programs run as stipulated.
   

8. Ensure coverage, adequacy, metrics, and KPIs for cyber security controls.
   

9. Meet stipulated SLAs and OLAs and ensure cybersecurity services are offered efficiently.
   

10. Provide support to staff and partners for better experience of cyber security services.
    

11. Periodic reporting on cyber security metrics and KPIs for the different cyber security controls.
    

12. Perform other additional duties as assigned by the cyber security management team
    

13. Mentorship of junior staff for better performance and operational excellence.
    

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or any other relevant technical field.
   
2. Network Security Certification such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Security, CCIE Security, Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA, Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE)
   
3. At least one Information Security Certification such as CISSP/CHFI/CISM/CISA /OSCP/CEH / or any other related.
   
4. Certification in project management will be an added advantage.
   

1. A minimum of five (5) years’ experience working with Information Security Technologies and Controls – such as IDS/Firewalls/VPN Administration, Content Filters, Security Scanning tools, Antivirus, Encryption, Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Assessments, etc.
   

2. Experience in IT Networks and/or Systems Administration /or IT User Support, implementing and administering cybersecurity solutions.
   

3. Working with endpoint and network security solutions, databases, web applications, big data, cloud /virtualization, and microservices technologies will be an added advantage.
