Description

We are seeking a qualified and
dependable R.O Plant Operator to join our operations team.


The ideal
candidate will be responsible for the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of
the Reverse Osmosis (R.O) water treatment system, ensuring consistent water
quality and uninterrupted plant performance.


This role requires hands-on
technical skills, strong attention to detail, and effective coordination with
cross-functional teams.


Qualifications
and Experience:

1. Diploma
or Certificate in Analytical Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Water
Technology, or a related technical field.


2. Minimum
of 3–5 years’ experience in operating and maintaining R.O water treatment
plants.


3. Experience
in FMCG or a high-demand production environment is preferred.


4. Familiarity
with industry-standard safety and operational protocols.


5. Physically
fit and able to work in a demanding plant environment.

Required
Competencies:

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to
    operational accuracy.

  • Hands-on experience in plumbing and basic mechanical
    repair work.

  • Effective problem-solving skills with a proactive
    approach to fault diagnosis.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to
    work seamlessly with team members.

  • Practical knowledge of water analysis procedures,
    chemical handling, pump operation, and regeneration techniques.

  • Proven ability to operate and maintain R.O water
    treatment systems.




1.Operate and monitor the R.O water
treatment plant to ensure optimal performance and water quality compliance.


2.Conduct routine inspection and
preventive maintenance of R.O plant equipment, including pumps, membranes,
valves, and instrumentation.


3.Perform water quality testing and
chemical dosing in line with standard water analysis procedures.


4.Carry out regeneration of resins and
membrane cleaning as required.


5.Troubleshoot mechanical issues and
perform basic plumbing and mechanical repairs.


6.Maintain accurate records of water
parameters, maintenance activities, chemical usage, and equipment performance.


7.Coordinate with maintenance,
production, and quality assurance teams to ensure uninterrupted plant
operation.


8.Ensure compliance with safety and
environmental regulations at all times.


9.Participate in continuous
improvement initiatives and recommend technical enhancements to improve
efficiency and reliability.
