We are seeking a highly organized, detail‑oriented, and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a California nursing license in good standing (active or inactive) to support our clinical operations.

This role is essential to ensuring clinical excellence through documentation quality review, accurate medical order entry, care plan development, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of home health services, infusion therapy, and Joint Commission compliance, helping ensure the organization remains fully prepared, compliant, and aligned with best clinical practices.

Qualifications & Skills

  • California Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing (active or inactive), no disciplinary actions.
  • 2+ years of nursing experience (home health, infusion therapy, QA, or similar experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of home health documentation and applicable regulatory standards.
  • Familiarity with Joint Commission requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Strong written English communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and manage sensitive information responsibly.


Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities🩺 Quality Assurance & Documentation Review

  • Conduct thorough quality reviews of infusion and skilled visit documentation completed by field nurses.
  • Ensure all clinical documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify documentation gaps, errors, or inconsistencies and coordinate timely corrections.

🗂️ Clinical Data Entry & Care Coordination

  • Accurately enter patient medical orders into the EMR system.
  • Create and update Plans of Care (POC) according to physician orders and organizational standards.
  • Ensure all clinical records are organized, current, and compliant.

Regulatory Compliance & Joint Commission Readiness

  • Actively support Joint Commission readiness, including:

    • Daily checklists
    • Weekly audits
    • Monthly reviews
    • Quarterly compliance tasks
    • Annual regulatory updates
  • Assist in identifying compliance gaps and supporting corrective actions.

🤝 Collaboration & Support

  • Collaborate closely with clinical leadership, Quality Assurance (QA) teams, and field staff to maintain consistent documentation standards.
  • Provide guidance and ongoing support regarding documentation best practices.
