Job Summary:
We are seeking a warm, energetic, and professional Full-Time Sales Assistant to join our team. You will be the face of our store, helping customers find the perfect items for their homes, managing stock and ensuring the showroom looks immaculate. The ideal candidate has a passion for interior design, social media management skills, excellent English communication skills, and outstanding customer service etiquette.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Welcome walk-in customers warmly, understand their home decor needs, and guide them through our product collections.
- Sales Driving: Meet daily sales targets by active selling online & offline, and introducing product features (e.g., fabric quality, thread counts, care instructions).
- Store Presentation: Maintain neat product displays, ensure shelves are fully stocked, and keep the showroom clean and organized.
- Point of Sale (POS): Efficiently handle cash and digital transactions (M-Pesa, Card payments) using our checkout system.
- Inventory Tracking: Count and log incoming stock, flag low inventory, and assist with stocktaking.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Education: Minimum of a Diploma or Degree in Sales and Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience in retail sales, hospitality, or customer service.
- Experience in home decor retail is a distinct advantage.
- Skills: Excellent Communication skills, well spoken and active infront of a Camera.
- Technical Savvy: Basic accounting skills and comfort using computerized POS systems
- Personal Attributes: Neat personal grooming, reliable, proactive and detail oriented
- Proximity: Ability to commute to and from work reliably
