Senior Lecturer - Criminology and Security (Nairobi Campus)

KeMU/ASA/SEPS/1/9/2026 – 1 POST, NAIROBI CAMPUSReports to the Chair of Department.

Minimum Requirements

• Doctorate degree holder in Criminology and Security Management or its academic equivalent from a recognized or accredited institution.
  
• Master’s degree in Criminology and Security Management qualification in international relations or its equivalent from an accredited and recognized University.
  
• Bachelor Degree in Criminology and Security Management or its equivalent from an accredited and recognized university.
  
• Must have at least 3 years of teaching experience as a lecturer at a university level position or an equivalent institution.
  
• Must have a minimum of thirty-two (32) publication points as lecturer or equivalent of which at least twenty-four (24) should be from refereed journals.
  
• Must show evidence of contribution to university life through active participation indepartmental matters, students’ academic advising, School and University meetingscommittee membership and others.
  
• Must be recognized and registered by relevant professional bodies (where applicable).
  
• Evidence of affiliation to a professional body will be an added advantage.
