Description
The Staff Caterer is responsible for preparing and serving meals, snacks, and beverages for hospital staff and patients while maintaining high standards of hygiene, food safety, and customer service. The role also supports catering operations through inventory management, cleanliness, and coordination with housekeeping and kitchen teams to ensure efficient delivery service.
Qualifications & Specification:
Diploma in Hospitality, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Catering, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 1 year experience in catering, housekeeping, or hospitality services, preferably in a hospital or healthcare environment.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong attention to cleanliness, hygiene, and infection prevention standards.
Basic understanding of food safety and catering procedures.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Physical stamina to handle catering and light cleaning duties.
Flexible and willing to work shifts, weekends, or holidays as required.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with doctors, staff, and patients.
