Minimum requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA-K, ACCA) will be an added advantage.
Proven experience in accounting, preferably in accounting for inventory.
Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and Microsoft Navision Business Central.
High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Proficiency in the use of modern AI data analytics tools such as Copilot, PowerApps, and Power BI.
Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
Responsibilities
Tea Stock Accounts reconciliations between physical stocks and the General Ledger.
Supervision of all stock entries, both JFM and 3rd parties (Producers).
Quarterly stock take management for all stocks and stores.
Stock input in the ERP system for all auction and private tea purchase orders.
Update of tea stocks in transit, both local and foreign purchases (in-built system-based report in BC already exists)
Ensure data input in the ERP system is accurate and make any adjustments within the authorized limits.
Facilitate the identification of every tea stock item on the warehouse floor.
Facilitate all the demands on a need basis to enhance the efficiency of the trading supply chain systems.
Be conversant with all tea stock reports and understand fully the duties related to tea stock inventory management.
Stick within the stipulated reporting deadlines of the routine reports, which include the tea purchase summary reports, the average auction prices report, and all weekly stock reports.
Maintain and keep a good filing system of tea purchase invoices and auction catalogues.
Verify and validate all stock out of blends, shipping instructions for accurate stock balances daily.
Verify and validate all Blend confirmations, outturn reports, and timely stocking out for accuracy of stock reports
Preparing and sending the stock list and teaboard to C&F Declaration every Thursday and Monday morning for compliance and declarations.
Troubleshot and resolved stockout errors for both blends and shipping instructions.
Enforce and adhere to the existing stock control procedures
Adherence to the stock cut-off procedures
Confirmation of the accuracy of tea invoice postings in the ERP system on a weekly basis.
Responding to queries on tea stocks data variations.
Solving stockout errors from warehouses in Navision
Preparation of the Operations metrics report on a monthly basis.
