Job details

Contract Type

Description

You will create puzzles across three primary categories:

  • Linguistic Reasoning: Puzzles based on complex grammar rules, syntactic structures, or linguistic ambiguities unique to your language.
  • Cultural Reasoning: Logic puzzles grounded in deep cultural context, local traditions, or culturally-grounded mathematics that AI lacks the lived experience to understand.
  • Wordplay & Riddles: Advanced, original riddles, puns, or double-meanings that do not exist on the internet and cannot be easily translated word-for-word.

Deliverables per item:

For every puzzle you create, you will be required to submit the following:

  • Native-Language Prompt: The original puzzle written flawlessly in the target language.
  • Gold Answer: The definitive, correct solution.
  • Rationale: A logical breakdown of why the answer is correct and how a native speaker arrives at it.
  • English Translation: A high-quality English translation of the prompt, answer, and rationale for project managers to review.
  • Difficulty Rating: An assessment of how challenging the puzzle is for a native speaker.

Qualifications

Who We Are Looking For

  • Native-level fluency in the target language with exceptional writing skills.
  • High proficiency in English to provide clear, accurate translations and rationales.
  • Background in Linguistics, Creative Writing, Translation, or Logic/Mathematics: You understand the mechanics of your language deeply.
  • Creative & Analytical Thinker: You can design problems that require lateral thinking, cultural context, and multi-step reasoning rather than memorized facts.
  • Advanced Problem-Solving Awareness: You understand how automated and computational systems process language, enabling you to design highly resistant, complex prompts.

What to Avoid (Disqualifiers)

  • Trivia questions or historical facts that can be Googled.
  • Translating existing English riddles or math problems into your native language.
  • Copying puzzles from books, websites, or existing online databases.
