Job Specifications

Academic:

  • At least an undergraduate degree or its equivalent in commercial, financial or quantitative discipline.

Professional:

  • Professional qualification in UX Design.

Desired work experience:

  • Experience with business analysis.
  • Experience with project management delivery mechanisms and reporting e.g. Agile, Scrum, waterfall
  • Preferably a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in highly automated environment.
  • Experience designing considered user interfaces for digital products and services
  • Extensive knowledge of Figma, Adobe XD etc
  • Deep understanding of typography, colour, layout and motion design principles
  • Bring ideas to life in industry standard tools: After Effects, Invision, Framer or Principle
  • Strong domain knowledge of different digital platforms (iOS/Android, Web)
  • Comfortable working within a fast paced, creative, and rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to meet and exceed expectations under tight timelines
  • Strong knowledge of UX methodologies is a must
  • Experience running research-based workshop sessions


Responsibilities

UX Design 35

  • Design aesthetically pleasing mock-ups, flows, and high-resolution production-ready visual layouts for web and mobile
  • Participate in assessments of existing experiences/interfaces, leveraging the power of analytics tools combined with a competency in usability / design best practices
  • Support strategic experience design practice growth initiatives, which may include areas such as marketing, recruitment, and sales
  • Influencing and shaping product roadmaps and key deliverables.

Customer Discovery 35

  • Connecting with and understanding the needs of the user through relevant questioning and discovery.
  • Participate in project discovery activities (building a story, doing competitive research, creating user personas, and helping define the overall ‘heart and soul' of the site or application to be built)
  • Working with stakeholders to gather and understand design requirements, planning work across all phases of design using a structured approach and collaborating with researchers to deliver informed design solutions that are fit for purpose.
  • Collaborating with developers on solutions and design handovers.

Customer 15

  • Stakeholder research to understand needs and pain points working with the UX Research team
  • Understand target audiences needs and conduct user research of competitor products
  • Advocate for the user and follow user-centered design principles.

Learning and growth 15

  • Increase knowledge base, keep up with the emerging trends in UX Design field.
