Description
Vacancies(4) for welding and fabrication have arisen at our Mechanical Workshop, Engineering Department. We wish to recruit competent team players with track record performance to fill these positions through a competitive process.
About the position
Reporting to the Workshop Foreman the job holder will perform welding and fabrication work at the workshop and other production and operations sites of the company e. g. Factories and Estates while observing the Safety and Health standards.
Minimum Requirements
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Craft Certificate in welding and Fabrication option
Minimum of 3 years experience in welding or similar roles
Arc welding, cast iron, Tig welding etc
Candidates with additional technical skills will have an added advantage
Good organizing and innovation skills
Prepare materials and tools for jobs as assigned by supervisor/ foremen.
Carrying out welding & fabrication works at workshops, factories, and other work sites.
The ability to do cast iron welding and Tig welding will be an added advantage
Complete jobs/tasks within the timelines and of the desired quality standards.
Perform any other technical duties in teams as assigned by supervisor or foreman.
