1.About this Cookie Notice
This Cookie Notice explains how Fuzu Ltd and its affiliates ("Fuzu", "we", "us") use cookies and similar tracking technologies on the Fuzu websites, mobile applications, and other parts of the Fuzu Service (the "Service").
This Cookie Notice supplements the Fuzu Privacy Policy. Where this Cookie Notice and the Privacy Policy address the same topic, the Privacy Policy provides the broader context and lawful bases; this Cookie Notice provides the technology-specific detail.
If you have questions about this Cookie Notice or about Fuzu's use of cookies, you can contact Fuzu using the details in Section 9. Country-specific contact details are set out in the applicable Country Addendum to the Privacy Policy.
In short: Strictly-necessary cookies are always on, because the Service does not work without them. Other cookies — including analytics and advertising cookies — are only set when you give consent through our consent management platform (Cookiebot). You can change your choices at any time through the cookie preferences centre.
3.Categories of cookies we use
Fuzu uses cookies in the following categories. The specific cookies in each category, their providers, purposes, and durations, are listed in Sections 4 to 7 below. Fuzu uses Cookiebot as its consent management platform; the most current, automatically-scanned list of cookies is available through the Cookiebot cookie preferences centre on the Service.
- Strictly-necessary cookies — required for the basic operation of the Service. These cannot be switched off, because doing so would prevent essential functionality (such as keeping you signed in or saving your consent choices).
- Functional and preference cookies — used to remember your choices and personalise the Service.
- Analytics cookies — used to understand how Users interact with the Service so we can improve it.
- Marketing and advertising cookies — used to deliver, measure, and improve advertising of Fuzu and partner services and to measure the effectiveness of Fuzu's marketing.
4.Strictly-necessary cookies
These cookies are required for the Service to function and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are set in response to actions you take that amount to a request for services, such as signing in, filling in forms, or setting your consent preferences. The lawful basis for these cookies is Fuzu's legitimate interest in operating the Service and, where applicable, the necessity of the cookie for the performance of a contract with you. Consent is not required for strictly-necessary cookies under the EU ePrivacy framework or the equivalent regimes in the operating countries.
| Cookie name | Provider | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
_fuzu_session_global | Fuzu (1st party) | Strictly necessary | Maintains your authenticated session and links your browser to your Fuzu account. | Session (deleted when you close the browser) |
remember_user_token | Fuzu (1st party) | Strictly necessary | Keeps you signed in between visits when you choose "Remember me", so you do not have to re-enter your password each time. | 4 weeks |
logged_in_so_dont_cache_in_cf | Fuzu (1st party) | Strictly necessary | Signals to our content-delivery/cache layer that you are signed in so that personalised pages are not served from cache. | Session (deleted on sign-out) |
CookieConsent | Cookiebot (Cybot A/S) | Strictly necessary | Stores your cookie-consent choices so the Service does not re-prompt on every page. | 12 months |
Note on CSRF and language: Cross-site request forgery (CSRF) protection and your language and country preferences are handled within the session and your account record, not via dedicated cookies.
5.Functional and preference cookies
These cookies allow Fuzu to remember choices you make on the Service to provide enhanced, more personal features. The lawful basis for these cookies, in the EU and EEA and other jurisdictions that require consent for non-essential cookies, is your consent.
| Cookie name | Provider | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
intercom-id-vpqba42u, intercom-session-vpqba42u, intercom-device-id-vpqba42u | Intercom | Functional / preferences | Powers the Intercom support/messaging widget (currently on Fuzu's employer/recruiter areas), enabling live chat and continuity of support conversations. Loaded only after "preferences" consent. | Up to ~9 months (id/device-id); ~1 week (session) — confirm via Cookiebot scan |
Note on user-interface preferences: Fuzu does not currently store UI preferences, saved filters, or recent searches in cookies. These are held within your account record on Fuzu's servers.
6.Analytics cookies
These cookies help Fuzu understand which pages and features are most and least popular and how Users move around the Service. The information is generally aggregated and used in pseudonymised form. The lawful basis for these cookies, in the EU and EEA and other jurisdictions that require consent for non-essential cookies, is your consent.
Where analytics cookies involve the transfer of personal data outside the EEA (for example, to Google or PostHog), Fuzu relies on the cross-border transfer mechanisms described in Section 10 of the Privacy Policy.
| Cookie name | Provider | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
ph_<project>_posthog | PostHog (EU instance) | Analytics | Product analytics: identifies users and records feature usage to inform product decisions. Loaded only after "statistics" consent, and only on brands where PostHog is enabled. | Up to 12 months — confirm via Cookiebot scan |
_ga, _ga_<container>, _gid | Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager) | Analytics | Distinguishes unique users and sessions to help Fuzu understand how the Service is used. Delivered through the GTM container, which is gated behind "statistics"/"marketing" consent. | _ga / _ga_* up to 24 months; _gid 24 hours — confirm GTM container & via Cookiebot scan |
Note on analytics delivery: Fuzu loads analytics through Google Tag Manager rather than a hard-coded analytics snippet. The exact analytics tags (and therefore the precise _ga* cookies) are configured inside the Google Tag Manager container; the authoritative current list is available through the Cookiebot cookie preferences centre.
7.Marketing and advertising cookies
These cookies are used to deliver advertising of Fuzu and partner services, to limit the number of times you see an advertisement, to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns, and (where applicable) to build a profile of your interests. They are typically set by advertising platforms operating either as joint controllers with Fuzu or as independent controllers for their own purposes.
The lawful basis for these cookies in the EU and EEA, and in other jurisdictions that require consent, is your consent. Where advertising cookies are set by third parties operating as independent controllers, those third parties are responsible for their own processing under their own privacy policies, which are linked in the cookie preferences centre.
| Cookie name | Provider | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
_fbp, fr | Meta (Facebook) | Marketing / advertising | Used by Meta to deliver and measure advertising across Meta properties and partner sites. Loaded only after "marketing" consent. | Up to 90 days — confirm via Cookiebot scan |
_gcl_au, IDE, NID | Google / Google Ads | Marketing / advertising | Used by Google for conversion tracking, advertising preferences, and measurement of Google Ads campaigns. Loaded only after "marketing" consent. | _gcl_au ~90 days; IDE / NID up to 13 months — confirm via Cookiebot scan |
_cioid (and anonymous identifier) | Customer.io | Marketing / advertising | Email-marketing automation: identifies users and tracks page activity to trigger and measure messaging campaigns. | Up to ~12 months — confirm via Cookiebot scan |
8.Managing your cookie preferences
8.1 Through the cookie preferences centre
You can manage and change your cookie preferences at any time through the Cookiebot cookie preferences centre on the Service. It is accessible from the cookie banner shown to you the first time you visit the Service and from the footer of every page.
8.2 Through your browser or device
Most browsers allow you to view, manage, delete, and block cookies. The settings vary by browser; relevant instructions are available from the help pages of your browser. You can also set your device to opt out of mobile advertising identifiers (for example, by using the "Limit Ad Tracking" setting on iOS or the equivalent on Android). Note that blocking strictly-necessary cookies may prevent you from using parts of the Service.
8.3 Industry opt-outs
You can also use industry opt-out tools to manage advertising cookies, including:
- the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance (EDAA) at www.youronlinechoices.eu;
- the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) at www.networkadvertising.org/choices; and
- the Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA) at www.aboutads.info/choices.

10.Changes to this Cookie Notice

The current version is always available at fuzu.com/legal/cookies, with the effective date indicated at the top of the document.
