Job Specification
Education:B.Sc or HND qualification in Agriculture or Agricultural Sciences from a reputable institution. Minimum of 8 years in Agribusiness At least 3 years experience at managerial level. Experience with the requirements for vegetable export Must have hands on experience of how the agribusiness sector works Knowledgeable in the raising of funds for agribusiness Must be willing to shuttle between Ondo Town and Lagos Familiar with international best practices of growing, cultivating, harvesting and storing crops Capacity and experience to develop training manuals and also train subordinates Knowledge of Animal Husbandry will be an added advantage Compulsory knowledge of Microsoft Office suite Good problem solving and decision-making skills. Good people development, management and leadership skills. Good interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.

To Oversee the vegetable crops and other cash crops production on the farm and coordinate daily processes and operations with an emphasis on financial results. Responsible for coordinating the activities of the farm supervisors and other stuff Liaising with the Financial Institutions to raise funds for agricultural import and export Analysing existing operations, crops, staff, and financial documents and recommending improvements. Responsible for liaising with appropriate agencies Assisting with the recruitment and training of new staff members. Collaborating with senior staff to prepare budgets and financial reports. Building professional networks and keeping abreast of developments in agricultural science. Scheduling repairs, maintenance, and replacement of equipment and machinery.
