Role Overview
Overseeing all technology operations and product launch by evaluating them according to established goals. Devising and establishing IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by upper management.
Role Requirements
● Excellent knowledge of the contemporary digital landscape of the e-commerce industry and experience of bringing leading technology and process optimization practices to our organization to deliver growth and to drive sustainable improvements in business performance.
● Coordinating the Tech business market approach for different use cases.
● Hands-on experience of designing, owning and evaluating organizational transformations and delivering large scale change that adds value.
● Program management qualification, experience of robustly managing large budgets and have built processes and people teams
● Proven experience in managing IT teams and inside and outside the organization (outsourcing)
● Developing programs to implement transformational change which will enable the organization to deliver innovative and competitive technology products and services
● Providing thought leadership, define, and implement the group’s digital strategy in line with organizational objectives and priorities
● Creating and supporting an environment of digital innovation and best practice, ensuring the use of technologies for the benefit of stakeholders; driving the design, implementation and delivery of new systems, technologies and services
● Define, architect, and execute the organizational and infrastructure plan required to fulfil the company’s business and technology strategies.
● Supervise and help to implement all functional areas of technology including software design and development, enterprise architecture, quality assurance and testing, production operations and technical support, network and systems administration, and information security management.
● Grow and scale the team by recruiting world-class technical talent as needed. Create and foster an environment conducive to innovation, high productivity, and high quality
● Provide leadership to development projects that improve the functionality, reliability, scalability, and security of the company’s applications and systems.
● Drive a software development lifecycle process and culture that ensures the appropriate balance in which quality products are produced in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
● Ensure sound architectural designs are implemented and advocate for best practices and processes.
● Create a strong internal culture to manage technology projects with accurate time estimates, adherence to deadlines, and strong communication to stakeholders.
● Oversee the technology organization’s information security, disaster recovery, and business continuity efforts.
● Work in partnership with internal functional teams as a technology partner in forwarding business capabilities.
● Any other task assigned by the line manager.
