- The Cloud Technical Project Manager is a key person in helping us transition to the cloud for operational efficiency.
- This person will oversee projects that involve moving data and applications to the cloud and provide advice on the best cloud solutions for our needs.
- He or She will work closely with both technical and non-technical resources to make sure that the cloud solutions meet business goals and are successfully implemented.
Responsibilities
Consultation and Strategy Development:
- Assess clients' existing IT infrastructure and workflows.
- Develop cloud adoption strategies tailored to clients' specific business needs and goals.
- Advise clients on the selection of cloud services and platforms (e.g., AWS and Azure).
Project Management:
- Lead and manage cloud implementation and migration projects.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including architects, engineers, and developers to ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Monitor project progress, addressing potential risks and issues, and ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Technical Expertise and Implementation:
- Provide expertise in cloud architecture and infrastructure.
- Oversee the technical aspects of cloud migrations, including data transfer, security, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure the optimized performance of cloud services post-implementation.
Client Engagement and Communication:
- Maintain regular communication with clients to update them on project progress and address any concerns.
- Deliver presentations and reports to stakeholders on cloud solutions, benefits, and ROI.
- Facilitate training and workshops for clients on cloud technologies and best practices.
