Responsibilities
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of cane mill equipment, including knives, shredders, and crushing mills.
- Perform routine inspections and monitoring of equipment to identify potential issues.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical problems, collaborating with fitters and other support teams as needed.
- Develop and implement minor modifications to equipment and processes to improve efficiency and safety.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations and standards.
- Assist in training and development of apprentices and junior staff.
