Warehouse Assistant - Provisioning
Description
The role
As Warehouse Assistant, you receive and process incoming stock and materials, carry out stock counts, oversee provisioning officers and manage their SLAs, and resolve provisioning issues. The role sits in Warehouse & Logistics within Supply Chain, and the preferred candidate should be based in Asaba, Delta State.
What You’ll Do
- Receive OEM deliveries, verify them against the delivery note, and flag damage or shortages.
- Label and store goods, update bin cards, and maintain FIFO on the floor.
- Work with IT and the App testing team to run flashing tools (Odin/HMD Toolkit) and app installation (Cygwin) on all provisioning systems for device enrolment.
- Support serial verification and keep provisioning desktops updated within the 24-hour firmware SLA.
- Package devices (QSG, casing, screen protector, seal) and complete final QC checks.
- Oversee provisioning officers, manage their SLAs, and resolve provisioning issues.
- Produce daily, weekly and monthly throughput and stock count reports.
- Report to the Warehouse Lead and jointly verify materials with Handlers.
- Hit the standards: a 24-hour firmware update SLA, 300 devices per operator per day, and zero hand-over discrepancy.
What You’ll Need
- A Diploma in Store/Warehouse Management or Procurement
- 2 years’ work experience in a similar position
- Hands-on experience with an inventory management system, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
- Strong stock management, problem solving, time management and multitasking skills, along with the conflict management, negotiation and collaboration needed to keep a busy floor working together.
