  • Bachelors' Degree in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science or Agriculture and Allied Sciences
  • At least 5-6 years of experience in selling ingredients to Feed Mills, Poultry and Animal Farms in Nigeria & Ghana
  • Strong knowledge of animal nutrition, feed formulation, and the agriculture industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to meet with clients and attend industry events.
Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive growth in the animal nutrition and health ingredients market.
  • Identify target customers, set sales objectives, and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including feed mills, and poultry and animal farms. Understand their unique requirements, offer tailored solutions, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Educate customers on the benefits and features of our product portfolio. Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions to showcase our offerings and address customer inquiries.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. Analyze market demands, identify emerging opportunities, and provide feedback to the management team to drive product development and marketing strategies.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, track sales activities, and report on key performance metrics regularly. Provide insights and recommendations to the management team for continuous improvement.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with customers, ensuring profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction. Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate pricing strategies and implement effective pricing structures.
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and events. Network with potential customers, industry professionals, and thought leaders to expand business opportunities and enhance brand visibility.
