Education and Professional Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline.
  • Master’s degree (Bac+5) in a Human Resources-related discipline.
  • Professional qualification in Human Resource Management.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant professional experience.

Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent knowledge of the cement industry in terms of trends, challenges, opportunities, regulations, legislation, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of salary structures, benefits and compensation practices, and other related activities.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of market/industry compensation and benefits information.
  • Good understanding of payroll management systems and ability to perform complex troubleshooting operations.
  • Strong leadership and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent business writing skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially MS Excel.
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors will be an additional advantage.


Responsibilities
  • Manage the execution of DCCI’s compensation strategy.
  • Conduct benchmark surveys to identify new compensation policies, government regulations, and prevailing salary rates in order to develop a more competitive compensation plan for DCCI employees.
  • Supervise the execution of monthly payroll and approve periodic total compensation reconciliations.
  • Ensure that income taxes, insurance, and other group-approved benefits are accurately paid and submitted on time.
  • Supervise and approve the final calculation of entitlements for staff members leaving the organization.
  • Review and approve the presentation of compensation and benefits reports to the Head of Human Resources and Administration and other relevant authorities.
  • Champion the analysis of exit interview responses within DCCI and provide recommendations to management on compensation and benefits-related outcomes.
  • Manage relationships with internal (Finance) and external (Tax or other) stakeholders to ensure seamless and timely execution of department activities.
  • Provide accurate details of total (or changes in) payroll costs and other compensation-related information, along with relevant recommendations to management for informed decision-making.
  • Supervise the activities of junior officers and provide guidance as necessary.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Director of Human Resources and Administration.
