  • Master's or doctoral degree, M.Ed. Degree or M.Sc. with PGDE certificate (or in view) in Mathematics Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field.
  • TRCN certificate will be an additional advantage
  • Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in both Cambridge and Nigerian Curriculum and Previous experience in curriculum development, preferably in a leadership role within a mathematics department.
  • Strong understanding of educational standards, assessment practices, and instructional strategies in mathematics education.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate colleagues.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and using assessment data to inform instructional decision-making.

  • We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Curriculum Leader to join our Mathematics Department. As the Curriculum Leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the mathematics curriculum and ensuring its alignment with educational standards and objectives.
  • You will lead a team of passionate educators, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation in mathematics education.

Duties

  • Develop and oversee the implementation of the mathematics curriculum, ensuring alignment with national and state standards, as well as the school's educational goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers to design engaging and rigorous mathematics instructional materials, assessments, and resources.
  • Provide leadership and support to mathematics teachers, including mentoring, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the mathematics curriculum and instructional practices through data analysis and feedback mechanisms.
