Job Description
- We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Curriculum Leader to join our Mathematics Department. As the Curriculum Leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the mathematics curriculum and ensuring its alignment with educational standards and objectives.
- You will lead a team of passionate educators, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation in mathematics education.
Duties
- Develop and oversee the implementation of the mathematics curriculum, ensuring alignment with national and state standards, as well as the school's educational goals.
- Collaborate with teachers to design engaging and rigorous mathematics instructional materials, assessments, and resources.
- Provide leadership and support to mathematics teachers, including mentoring, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the mathematics curriculum and instructional practices through data analysis and feedback mechanisms.
- Stay updated on current trends, research, and best practices in mathematics education, integrating new methodologies and technologies into the curriculum as appropriate.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including parents, administrators, and external organizations, to communicate curriculum initiatives and gather feedback.
