Job Description
- We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Curriculum Leader for our Social Science Department with a strong background in both the Cambridge and Nigerian curricula. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in curriculum development, implementation, and assessment in these curricula.
Duties
- Lead the development and implementation of the Social Science curriculum in alignment with both the Cambridge and Nigerian curricula.
- Collaborate with teachers to design engaging and rigorous lesson plans that meet the requirements of both curricula.
- Provide guidance and support to teachers in delivering high-quality instruction that meets the needs of all students.
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure alignment with curriculum standards and learning objectives.
- Analyze data to make informed decisions about curriculum improvements and modifications.
- Stay current on trends and best practices in Social Science education within the Cambridge and Nigerian curricula.
- Collaborate with other curriculum leaders to ensure vertical and horizontal alignment across departments.
