Job Description
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the fresh produce section, including fruits, vegetables, and other perishable items.
- Monitor inventory levels, freshness, and quality of products.
- Lead and supervise a team of fresh department staff.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure high standards of customer service and product presentation.
- Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize waste and ensure optimal stock levels.
- Conduct regular stock checks and coordinate with the inventory management team.
- Collaborate with the merchandising team to create visually appealing displays.
- Ensure that product signage and pricing are accurate and attractive.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns related to the fresh produce section, by fostering a customer-centric environment and ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Daily floor walk through the department with the manager
- Trains, develops, mentors, motivates, and counsels Team Members in a manner that sustains a high-performance team and minimizes turnover. Ensure Hygiene & housekeeping
- Develop process improvements to maximize sales and profitability.

- Completes inventory management processes, spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
