Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role in the financial services industry.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the group-wide market expansion roadmap.
- Identify new markets, sectors, and revenue pools across Nigeria’s four major regions.
- Drive new market entries including establishment of regional hubs (South-South, South-East, South-West & North).
- Provide regional customer and market insights to inform product development and service innovation.
- Generate, qualify, and manage value-accretive business pipelines across regions.
- Drive organic and inorganic growth through new products, partnerships, channels, and business models.
- Deliver incremental revenue growth, regional AUM expansion, and new customer acquisition.
- Lead regional cross-selling and upselling initiatives across all Meristem subsidiaries.
- Work with Brands & Marketing to deliver localized marketing and brand visibility plans.
- Drive thought leadership, market education initiatives, and region-specific events.
- Lead sourcing, negotiation, and management of high-value partnerships across institutions, corporates, fintechs, cooperatives, public sector entities, and ecosystem enablers.
- Drive synergy realization, embedded finance initiatives, and revenue-sharing opportunities.
