What We're Looking For
Professional & Technical Strengths
- Strong practical experience in power distribution, asset management, or electrical network operations (utility or similar environment)
- Solid understanding of medium- and low-voltage networks, including substations, feeders, and transformers
- Experience working with GIS or asset management systems and maintaining asset registers
- Experience coordinating or supervising field teams, contractors, or technical vendors
- Good understanding of field data collection, verification, and reporting processes
- Ability to collaborate with multicultural and geographically distributed teams
- High degree of autonomy and accountability
- Willingness to travel within and outside the country
- Proven ability to coordinate activities across multiple sites and stakeholders
- Comfortable engaging with client technical teams, utility engineers, and field personnel
- Organized and execution-focused, with strong attention to detail
- Clear communicator, able to document work and escalate issues when needed
- Problem-solver with a practical and hands-on approach
Responsibilities
- Maintain the GIS asset register (substations, feeders, transformers, meters, etc.); ensure data is accurate, complete, and up to date
- Identify and document all critical assets across medium- and low-voltage networks
- Track asset condition, maintenance history, and lifecycle status
- Coordinate field teams and vendors to collect, verify, and update asset data
- Ensure consistency and quality of data across all systems and tools
- Support network operations by providing reliable asset data for planning, maintenance, and loss reduction initiatives
- Monitor key field and asset-related metrics and flag issues impacting performance
