Educational Qualification and Work Experience

- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferable in a sugar mill or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
- Install, align, maintain mill rollers, bearings, couplings, and gear systems.
- Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs.
- Support dismantling, overhauling, and reassembly of mill components during off-season.
- Assist in achieving targeted crushing capacity (4000 TCD) by ensuring equipment reliability.
- Monitor mill performance and recommend improvements for efficiency and sugar recovery.
- Work closely with engineers and technicians during breakdowns and scheduled overhauls.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure proper use of tools and protective equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and spare parts usage.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory standards.
- Mentor and train local fitters and technicians in best practices.
- Share technical expertise to build local capacity and strengthen the maintenance team.
