Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Music Education or a related field
Professional at music Instruments (violin, piano, trumpet, saxophone e.t.c)
Proven experience as a Music Teacher in a school or private setting
Proficiency in multiple musical instruments and strong vocal abilities
In-depth knowledge of music theory, history, and various genres and styles
Experience in conducting choirs, bands, or orchestras
Excellent classroom management and organizational skills
Strong curriculum development and lesson planning abilities
Familiarity with music technology and relevant software
Patient and supportive teaching approach with the ability to adapt to different learning styles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Creativity in designing engaging and interactive music lessons
Familiarity with Nigerian music and cultural traditions is highly desirable

Develop and implement engaging music curriculum for students of different age groups and skill levels
Teach music theory, history, and appreciation to enhance students' overall musical knowledge
Provide individual and group instruction on various musical instruments and vocal techniques
Organize and conduct school choirs, bands, and orchestras for performances and competitions
Plan and coordinate music events, recitals, and concerts throughout the academic year
Assess and evaluate students' musical progress, providing constructive feedback and support
Maintain a well-organized and safe learning environment for all music classes
Stay updated on current music education trends and incorporate new teaching methods as appropriate
Promote the importance of music education within the school community
