The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) provides strategic financial leadership, ensuring the Bank’s financial strength, profitability, and long-term sustainability in line with Islamic banking principles and regulatory requirements.
The role oversees financial strategy, budgeting, financial reporting, treasury, capital management, taxation, and regulatory compliance while advising the Board and Executive Management on business performance, investments, and strategic growth opportunities.
The CFO ensures compliance with IFRS, AAOIFI, CBN, and Shari’ah governance standards, manages stakeholder relationships with regulators and auditors, and drives effective financial controls, risk management, and balance sheet optimization to support sustainable growth and value creation.
