Plant HR Business Partner
Description
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic HR partner to Plant Management, providing guidance on workforce planning, organisational design, and people strategy.
- Drive the implementation of HR policies, frameworks, and programs in alignment with corporate HR directives.
- Support plant operations through effective manpower planning, recruitment, and deployment of skilled talent.
- Manage employee relations and industrial relations issues, ensuring compliance with labour regulations.
- Lead performance management processes including goal setting and reviews.
- Oversee learning and development interventions.
- Monitor HR metrics and analytics to improve productivity.
- Ensure compliance with statutory labour laws and HR governance standards.
- Drive change management initiatives.
- Minimum of 15 years progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years at Head of Department level.
- Plant or manufacturing operations experience is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or any of the Social Sciences disciplines.
- Additional degree/qualification in Engineering or any related field is an added advantage,
- Must be a Chartered HR practitioner (CIPMN/SHRM/CIPD).
- Strong knowledge of HR in manufacturing environments.
- Expertise in industrial relations and labour laws.
- Leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
