Description
Qualification and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 8+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP HCM Consultant.
Proven experience with at least 3-4 full lifecycle SAP HCM implementations (from blueprint to go-live and support).
Deep functional expertise in core SAP HCM modules: Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Time Management (TM), and Payroll (PY).
Strong understanding of HR business processes, best practices, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Requirements Analysis:
o Lead workshops and discussions with HR business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements for HCM processes.
o Translate complex business needs into functional and technical specifications for SAP HCM solutions.
o Advise clients on SAP HCM best practices, process improvements, and system capabilities.
Custom Development & Enhancements:
o Write detailed functional specifications for ABAP developers for custom reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements (RICEF).
o Collaborate closely with technical teams throughout the development lifecycle, from design to testing.
o Perform configuration and customization using IMG (Implementation Guide).
Testing & Quality Assurance:
o Develop comprehensive test plans and scenarios.
o Lead and execute unit testing, integration testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
o Manage defect resolution and ensure system quality and accuracy.
Data Migration & Reporting:
o Assist in data mapping, extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities for HCM data migration.
o Design and develop HR reports using standard SAP reporting tools (Ad-hoc Query, SAP Query, Infoset Query) and provide specifications for custom reports.
Support & Training:
o Provide expert-level functional support for SAP HCM modules, troubleshooting complex issues and providing timely resolution.
o Develop training materials and conduct end-user and super-user training sessions.
o Assist in post-go-live support and hyper care activities.
