Site Acquisition Cordinator

Job Purpose:

To lead the strategic planning and execution of site acquisition for Indus Towers’ new business in Nigeria, ensuring rapid rollout, regulatory compliance, and alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Site Acquisition Strategy & Execution
   

• Develop and implement acquisition strategies tailored to African markets.
  

• Drive end-to-end site acquisition including legal clearances, landlord negotiations, and statutory compliance.
  

• Manage vendor relationships and government interactions for smooth rollout.
  

2. Operational Excellence
   

• Ensure timely delivery of site proposals with minimal rejections.
  

• Monitor financial impact including rental negotiations and EBIDTA optimization.
  

• Resolve escalations related to site access, landlord issues, and compliance.
  

3. Stakeholder & Government Engagement
   

• Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and government bodies to ensure alignment and approvals.
  

• Represent Indus Towers in strategic discussions with local authorities and community stakeholders.
  

Skills & Knowledge:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
   

2. 12–15 years of leadership experience in site acquisition, preferably in telecom, infrastructure, or large-scale projects.
   

3. Proven expertise in setting up operations in emerging markets, with strong understanding of African regulatory and cultural dynamics.
   

4. High proficiency in stakeholder management, negotiation, and cross-cultural communication.
   

5. Experience in managing large teams, vendor ecosystems, and government relations.
