Warehouse Supervisor
Description
Job Description
- Supervise receipt, stacking, storage, picking, and dispatch of finished goods.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of dispatch orders by customers’ 3PL trucks.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Maintain warehouse housekeeping, organization, and compliance with standards.
- Conduct cycle counts and monthly stock reconciliations.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain real-time and accurate inventory records in ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
- Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to SOPs.
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and conduct regular team briefings.
- Enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Ensure compliance with company, regulatory, and audit requirements.
- Coordinate with Plant Logistics, Transport, and Sales teams to ensure smooth flow of goods and processes.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse activity reports (stock, dispatches, variances).
- Track KPIs (order accuracy, on-time dispatch, stock accuracy, warehouse utilization).
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, Attributes and Experiences
Experience and Skills
- 3–5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics supervision, preferably in manufacturing or distribution.
- Good knowledge of warehouse management systems (SAP).
- Proven leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).
