Requirements
- Must have a Bachelors in Electrical engineering
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in power system operations.
- Experience in Generation Planning is an added advantage
- Leadership and supervisory skills
- Possess good communication skills
- Analytical skills
Responsibilities
1. Generation Planning and generator scheduling (day-ahead, week)
2. Daily engagement with power plants, eligible generators and eligible consumers for availability and consumption declarations
3. Assess and determine Available Transmission Capacity (ATC) inputs for power trading
4. Preparation of Day-Ahead Market bids for power trading
- 5. Schedule DAM exchange volumes in the AGC server
